We are looking for a 

 

Sales Engineer, Dynamic Positioning, ANCS 

 

to join our Dynamic Positioning (DP) Sales team. This is a permanent opportunity, and its preferred location is Singapore, and other possible locations are Busan (South Korea), and Shanghai(China). The reporting line will be into the Senior Sales Manager (Global), situated in Asia.
 
About the position:

 

  • In this position, you will have the responsibility for
  • Generate and follow up sales leads from customers in Asia region.
  • Have willingness to learn business area and preferably already connected with customers. 
  • Increase market share of both retrofit/upgrade and newbuild portfolio. 
  • Analyse customer inquiries to create quotes in consultation with Sales and Engineering colleagues.
  • Create offers and technical specifications. 
  • Actively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and customer groups.
  • Take care of a smooth transfer for contracted opportunities into orders ensure quality of contracts and in line with established policies.

 
Requirements for the position:

 

  • Business Management / Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university or equivalent relevant background. 
  • Engineering or Sales background from the maritime industry is an advantage but not a requirement.
  • Interest and willingness to learn and collaborate with colleagues across different disciplines and locations.
  • Candidates with Dynamic Positioning experience would be a plus.
  • Passionate about maritime industry
  • Very good negotiation and communication skills 
  • Experience in multicultural and international working environment. 
  • Fluent in English (written and oral).
  • Willingness to travel domestic and international.
