We are looking for a Senior Service Engineer. This is a permanent opportunity, and its location is Singapore.
 

As a Senior Service Engineer, your responsibilities for the role include:

• To lead the Team to carry out Overhauling works Onboard/Workshop.
• To contribute to the company performance appraisal of your subordinates.
• Preparation for job, scope not limited to technical information, work and manpower plan, schedule, tools and tackles. Daily tool box meetings with the team on commencement.
• Responsible for timesheet submissions- correctness and timely.
• Able to prepare a hand written work done, with data recorded as per format templates and service report with photos, upon completion of job.
• Prepare a grant chart for work schedule as per Wartsila format.
• Responsible in maintaining the workshop, plant equipment, tools in good order and maintenance of good housekeeping in all job locations.

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

• BSC Degree with 2-5 years of working experience in the related field
• Diploma in marine engineering with more than 5 years of working experience in the related field
• Have broad knowledge of Wärtsilä equipment.
• Excellent technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
• Good command of English, both written and oral
• Ability to work independently
• Willingness and flexibility to travel up to 80% of the time
• Ability to communicate and interact well with customers and other stakeholders
• Literacy in Information Management Applications/ Tools such as MS Office
