Senior Service Engineer, 2-Stroke

We are looking for a (Senior) Service Engineer in Field Service 2-Stroke team in Singapore. This is a permanent opportunity and its location is Singapore


About the Position
What will you be doing:
As Senior Service Engineer(2-Stroke), your work will focus on these responsibilities:

  • Ensure risk assessment conducted at work and all times complying to local Workplace Health, Safety and Environment regulations
  • Independently execute Field Service activities such as overhaul, repair and Trouble shooting
  • Identify failures, making adjustments, doing trial runs and testing of complete Installations according to instructions
  • Check and adjust relevant auxiliary systems
  • Provide internal and external work reports according to Wartsila standards
  • Collect and organise time and expense reports.
  • Reporting and informing administrative personnel as required
  • Supervise the tasks performed by Wartsila employees and subcontractors
  • Perform pre-commissioning and start-ups of Wartsila engines


To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

  • BSC Degree with 5 – 10 years working experience in related field
  • Diploma in mechanical, marine engineering with more than 10 years working experience in related field.
