We are now looking for a Service Engineer to strengthen the Field Service Resource team in Singapore. This position requires travelling to locations in and around South East Asia – approximately 50- 100 travel days a year.

 

This is a permanent opportunity, and its location is Singapore.


What will you be doing as Service Engineer? Your work will focus on these responsibilities:

 

  • Perform Field Service activities according to the work plan.
  • Perform overhauls and repairs on assemblies on site and/or in workshops.
  • Interact professionally with customers during the work execution.
  • Perform internal and external progress status of the assigned work.
  • Create the Service Work Reports.
  • Ensure that the work is executed according to QSHE guidelines and site procedures and policies
  • Follow-up and report on the status of work orders to customer and/or internal stakeholders.
  • Continuously seek for solutions in according to best practices.

 

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

 

  • Mechanical knowledge in propulsion equipment
  • Self-motivated, analytical & fault-finding skills
  • Mature, hardworking, have good anticipation with a problem-solving attitude
  • A team player with a positive mindset & ability to adapt / work in a challenging environment
  • Good written & communication skill
  • Diploma or NITEC in Mechanical Engineering
  • At least 2 year working experience in related field
