Service Engineer (CCS & EGCS), Exhaust Treatment

Wärtsilä Exhaust Treatment is looking for Field Service Engineer to join great journey of Wartsila Exhaust Treatment, mainly for CCS (Carbon Capture & Storage) and EGCS (Exhaust Gas Cleaning System).

This is a permanent opportunity, and the preferred location is Singapore.

 

What will you be doing:
As Service Engineer (CCS & EGCS), Exhaust Treatment, your work will focus on these responsibilities:

  • Executing commissioning, warranty claims and service work for Exhaust Treatment Business in line with organization processes and practice.
  • Performing mechanic, PLC & Automation commissioning and trouble shooting.
  • Providing the feedback at the earlier project execution phases for sales, design, engineering, purchasing and installation.
  • Supporting for sales potential increase through customer interaction and accurate record-keeping in the field.
  • Keeping active and positive attitude and behaviour according to Wärtsilä’s Quality, Health, Environment and Safety guidelines
  • Continuously developing and improving the competences, attitude and behaviour.

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

  • Diploma/BSc. in Mechanical, Marine, Electrical & Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Min. 2 years career as marine equipment engineer.
  • Ability to understand, use and correct electrical and automation schematics and drawings, and related component level documentation.
  • Willingness to travel globally with the focus on Asia for service jobs. The travelling period will vary from a couple of days to a month.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Power Point.
  • Can-do and positive attitude.
  • Good reporting skill.
  • Good in written and spoken English.
  • It would be seen as a plus if you have:
    • Relevant "hands-on" experiences in the mechanical and electrical disciplines.
    • Career as EGCS/BWTS/Inert Gas/HVAC/Pump System engineer
    • Good in Spoken Korean
