We are looking for a Service Engineer. This is a permanent opportunity, and its location is Singapore.

What will you be doing as Service Engineer? Your work will focus on these responsibilities:

 

  • With alignment knowledges and experiences or working in shipyard in the past or relevant trade from other service providers.
  • Going onboard/site to perform site inspection, discussion and liaise with customers representatives, Shipyards, Owners, Surveyors and Superintendents, supervision of jobs done by our contractors
  • Able to lead team onboard/site for alignment works. 
  • Able to travel overseas as and when required for jobs, often with very short notice, with co-workers/sub-contractors.
  • Able to execute jobs independently with minimum supervision/guidance.
  • Able to interpret technical drawings and other technical documents to determine appropriate solutions.
  • Supervisor the tasks performed by co-workers and subcontractors.
  • Able to manage time and coordinate all aspects, of the job that is assigned by the operation manager.
  • Report executed work according to Wartsila standards.
  • Ensure risk assessment conducted at work and all times complying to local Workplace Health, Safety and Environment regulations
  • Work according to the regulations, policies, procedures, standards and work instructions including the Management System and Environmental Quality.
  • Prepare clear and precise service/test reports for completed work.
  • Any other tasks as and when assigned by manager / management inclusive of packing and delivery.

 

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

  • At least ITE certificate or O’ Level
  • 3 - 5 years relevant working experience
  • With driving license will be added advantage.
