Service Technician, 4-Stroke Engine

We are now looking for Service Technician to join Technical Pools, Singapore. This is a permanent opportunity, and the location is Singapore. 


What will you be doing:
As Service Technicians, your work will focus on these responsibilities:

  • To assist service engineer to perform work onboard vessel in accordance with the given instructions/ schedule.
  •  Perform overhauls and repairs onboard vessel, in shipyard or voyage.
  •  Perform supporting work (e.g. cleaning, lifting, shifting, dismantling & protecting components) during of overhaul process.
  •  Ensure that the work is executed according to Wärtsilä Quality, Health, Safety and environmental guidelines and customer site procedures.
     

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

  • Minimum ITE certification / O-level or with basic marine diesel engine knowledge.
  • Minimum 1 years of experience or knowledge of marine diesel engine.
  • Prefer with some basic knowledge on workplace safety, work tools and on engine mechanics theory/works.
  • Speak with good English.
  • Quality, safety & environmental skills
  • Teamwork skills
  •  Abel to work with underneath pressure.
  •  Able to travel oversea when require.
  •  Valid class 3 driving license will be advantage.
