We are looking for Service Technicians, 4-stroke Engine. This is a permanent opportunity, and its location is Singapore.

What will you be doing:

To assist Supt/ Senior/Engineer to perform engine overhaul work onboard vessel in accordance with the given instructions and schedule.

Perform overhauls and repairs onboard vessel, in shipyard or voyage as when required.

Perform supporting work (e.g. cleaning, lifting, shifting, dismantling & protecting components) during of overhaul process.

Be responsible for completing assigned task in an efficient manner.

Maintain a clean and well-organized work area.

Ensure that the work is executed according to Wärtsilä Quality, Health, Safety and environmental guidelines and customer site procedures.

Able to work overtime and during Public Holiday

 

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

Minimum O-level or ITE Certification with marine diesel engine knowledge.

Minimum 1 years of experience or knowledge of marine diesel engine.

Some basic knowledge on workplace safety, work tools and on engine mechanics theory/works.

Speak with fluent English.

Quality, safety & environmental skills

Able to work independently and under pressure.

Able to travel oversea when require.

Valid class 3 driving license will be advantage.

A good attitude with willingness to learn
