We are looking for Service Technicians, 4-stroke Engine. This is a permanent opportunity, and its location is Singapore.

What will you be doing:

  • Perform field service work at various shipyard/ anchorage and oversea when require.
  • To assist field service engineer to perform overhauls and repairs on 4 Stroke engines onboard vessel.
  • Assist engineer to record the measurement data on the relevant document.
  • Ensure work is executed according to Wärtsilä Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental guidelines and customer satisfaction.
  • Perform overhauls and repairs onboard vessel, in shipyard or voyage as when required.
  • Perform supporting work (e.g. cleaning, lifting, shifting, dismantling & protecting components) during of overhaul process.
  • Be responsible for completing assigned task in an efficient manner.
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized work area.
  • Able to work overtime and during Public Holiday

 

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

  • Minimum O-level or ITE Certification with marine diesel engine knowledge.
  • Minimum 1 years of experience or knowledge of marine diesel engine.
  • Some basic knowledge on workplace safety, work tools and on engine mechanics theory/works.
  • Speak with fluent English.
  • Quality, safety & environmental skills
  • Able to work independently and under pressure.
  • Able to travel oversea when require.
  • Valid class 3 driving license will be advantage.
  • A good attitude with willingness to learn
