Service Engineer, (2 Stroke / 4-Stroke Engine)

We are now looking for Service Engineer, (2 Stroke /  4 Stroke Engine ) to join Technical Pools, Singapore

 

What will you be doing
As a Service Engineer, 4 Stroke Engine, your work will focus on these responsibilities:

  • To take lead a team and to manage engine maintenance and overhauled jobs onboard vessels in shipyards, anchorage or voyage.
  • Coordinate/communicate with vessel superintendent or shipyard PJM when given a task.
  • Prepare Gantt Chart and writing of daily work progress.
  • Prepare and evaluate risk assessment before commencing the job.
  • Examine, evaluate, troubleshoot and carryout repair, maintenance or overhaul engines 2-Stroke / 4- Stroke Main/Aux Engines onboard vessel.
  • Preparation for job and manpower plan and schedule, tools. Daily tool-box meetings with team members on commencing including brief & debrief.
  • Writing timesheet and service work reports within the company and customer.
  • Able to work independently when require.

 

You will shine in this role, when you have OR To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

  • Higher Ni-Tec / Diploma in Marine/Mechanical Engineering
  • At least 1 to 2 years hands-on vessel engine repair experience on mechanical.
  • Team member with excellent safety history and good interaction skills to deal with various team.
  • Speak with fluent English and report writing
  • Capability to work with under pressure
  • Display ability to handle work professionally, independently and efficiently
  • Constant progress attitude.
  • Able to travel when require.
