We are seeking for a traveling Superintendent to install connectivity systems in Marine and Energy installations. This is to ensure assets under agreement will be sending data to cloud, enabling digital services, Expert Insight and Operational Support. This is a permanent opportunity and the preferred location is Pandan Crescent, Singapore.
What will you be doing:
As a Superintendent, Connectivity, your work will focus on these responsibilities.

Leading the on-site work to ensure timely and efficient cloud connectivity of assets.

Traveling to site, install and test Wärtsilä delivered data collection devices.

Build, test and troubleshoot TCP/IP and serial networks.

Provide commissioning support to remote sites.

Write service work reports.

Provide feedback for product improvements.
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:
-
Diploma / BSc. or MSc. in Electrical/Automation/IT or +5 years work experience with electrical and automation systems.

A strong understanding of computer networking, including routing and firewalling.

Availability to travel frequently and on short notice.

High level of independence with the support from the dynamic team.

Proficient in English, written and verbal.

It is considered an advantage to:
-
Have been working for Wärtsilä Field or Technical Service.

Have certification in TCP/IP networks.

Have expertise in Wärtsilä Marine and Energy networks
