Service Technician, 2-Stroke & 4-Stroke Engines

We are looking for Service Technician, 2-Stroke & 4-Stroke Engines in Singapore. This is a permanent opportunity, and its location is in Singapore.
 
What will you be doing:

  • Independently execute engine repair and overhaul jobs
  • Measure engine parts and components
  • Overhaul engine components in workshop and at site/on board including all necessary Insitu machining
  • Report executed work according to Wartsila standards
  • Promote Wartsila products and services
  • Supervisor the tasks performed by Wartsila employees and subcontractors

 

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

  • NTC2 in mechanical or ITE marine or Diploma in Engineering. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • 2 - 3 years relevant working experience
  • Engine specific and practical training
  • Basic knowledge in servicing and overhaul of Marine engines
  • Good communication skills
     

Others

  • Basic experience in marine industry and working onboard vessel, shipyards will be an added advantage
  • Compliance to local Workplace Health, Safety and Environmental regulations
  • Perform Work order in proper method according to work manual
  • This job is eligible for referral bonus.
