WORKSHOP COORDINATOR

As a Field Service Coordinator, your responsibilities for the role include:

  • Plan and execute Workshop jobs/orders.
  • Close cooperation with Line Manager and assigning Supervisors to jobs.
  • Close cooperation with Logistic Supervisors.
  • Apply Shipyard Entry Permit for local works.
  • Prepare documentation for invoicing as and when required.
  • To maintain KPI of the jobs on hand.
  • Attend production meetings and update sales on the requirement dates completion.
  • Continuously stay up-to-date with company policies and guidelines.
  • Ensure risk assessment conducted at work and all times complying to local Workplace Health, Safety and Environment regulations.
  • Liaison with Sales/Sales Support to launch works through SAP.
  • Regular monitoring on progresses & processes in the workflow, check and advise relevant stakeholders.
  • Promote understanding and relationship with internal customers.
  • Investigate anomalies and report to superior for corrective actions.
  • Manage duties diligently using the tools which are developed globally.
  • To be responsible for the purchasing of raw materials, tools and all other items necessary for daily operations.
  • To review job specifications and details are given to the supervisor for distribution to the team.
  • Liaison with SLRS colleagues, if required, to assist in co-ordination for machining services of stern tube bearing and shafting project.

 

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

  • Degree or Diploma in the field of marine engineering.
  • Good command of English, both written and oral
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to communicate and interact well with customers and other stakeholders
