Web QA Automation Expert

The SCRUM team lookes for a Web QA Automation Expert.

The goal is to create a reliable Web-based navigation support service for ships with regular updates. We use a progressive technology stack and flexible development methodology. Extensive opportunities for growth and self-improvement both in their own direction (smoke tests, user story tests, acceptance tests, load tests), and the possibility of additional development in parallel directions: devops, development, analytics.

We create a unique infrastructure for ships interaction. We fill it with services for the marine industry (both for the coast and for the board).


What you are going to do:

  • Participate in the development of the autotesting system, conduct a code review
  • Develop in a team scalable services for Azure, Amazon
  • Work with data storages (SQL / NoSQL / cloud storages)
  • Create tests via UI and API
  • Automate complex scripts and maintain existing


How we do it:

  • CI on Jenkins, in the devops team
  • Code review on Bitbucket (git, pre commit)
  • We work on a scram, there are functional and technological backlogs, there is a retro, grooming, and a large touchscreen with a scrum board
  • Autotest built into CI
  • As part of the sprint, we cover autotests with the new functionality
  • We use Azure’s advanced technologies: Application Insights (cloud logging), Service Fabric (cluster infrastructure for launching services), CosmosDB (NoSQL), Queues, Event / IoT Hubs, Autoscaling
  • Knowledge live in Confluence, requests via Jira



  • Experience in test automation of commercial web services for at least 2 years
  • Good knowledge of several AutoTest Frameworks of the following: Selenium, Robot Framework, Protractor, Cypress.io, NUnit
  • Knowledge of several languages will be a plus of the following: Python, JS, C #
  • Experience with visualization service: Report Portal, Allure
  • High level of General Computer Science
  • Motivation for complete immersion to the development of modern services (this is not an outsource, not an enterprise - this is the development of our products for our customers)
