We are looking for a Contract Engineer for our Contract Management Team in Surgères, France.

The Contract Engineer manages and coordinates projects and customer orders relating to engine and sub-assembly overhaul.  He/she is the customer's main contact and is responsible for ensuring the profitability of the project by applying his/her project management skills and know-how.

What you will your day look like : 

•    To ensure that the execution of the order/project complies with Wärtsilä Group procedures/standards/processes in a safe and cost effective manner, whilst guaranteeing the quality of the work/product.
•    Lead the project team associated with the project and ensure that the support functions are clear about their roles, responsibilities and expectations in terms of deliverables and scope.
•    Manage and monitor the contractual administration of the project (milestones, deliverables, receipts, invoicing, payments, etc.) and deal with contractual discrepancies arising from the execution of the project (notifications, correspondence, analyses, etc.).
•   Managing and analysing project risks and opportunities
•   Communicating and reporting on project monitoring within the various entities of our company and to his hierarchy. 
•   Ensure good customer relations (follow-up meetings, etc.).
•   Coordinate the supply of the various components required for the project with the dedicated parties.
•   Monitor and manage any amendments relating to the project.

To succeed in your role, you must: 

• Have a general engineering degree in technical project management
• Know project management methods and tools
• Have confirmed technical experience in the relevant field (Nuclear Safety Culture / military)
• Communication / synthesis skills / proactivity
• Client relations
• Risk analysis
• Proficiency in office software and industry-specific software (SAP, Salesforce…)
• Fluent English; another foreign language would be a plus
• Leadership
• Teamwork

Nous recherchons un Ingénieur Contrat pour notre équipe de Gestion des Contrats à Surgères, France.

L'Ingénieur Contrat gère et coordonne les projets et les commandes des clients concernant la révision des moteurs et des sous-ensembles. Il/elle est le principal contact du client et est responsable de garantir la rentabilité du projet en appliquant ses compétences et son savoir-faire en gestion de projet.

À quoi ressemblera votre journée : 

•    Assurer que l'exécution de la commande/projet respecte les procédures/normes/processus du groupe Wärtsilä de manière sûre et rentable, tout en garantissant la qualité du travail/produit.
•    Diriger l'équipe projet associée au projet et s'assurer que les fonctions de soutien sont claires sur leurs rôles, responsabilités et attentes en termes de livrables et de périmètre.
•    Gérer et surveiller l'administration contractuelle du projet (jalons, livrables, réceptions, facturation, paiements, etc.) et traiter les divergences contractuelles résultant de l'exécution du projet (notifications, correspondance, analyses, etc.).
•   Gérer et analyser les risques et opportunités du projet
•   Communiquer et rendre compte du suivi du projet au sein des différentes entités de notre entreprise et à sa hiérarchie. 
•   Assurer de bonnes relations avec le client (réunions de suivi, etc.).
•   Coordonner l'approvisionnement des différents composants nécessaires au projet avec les parties dédiées.
•   Surveiller et gérer toute modification relative au projet.

Pour performer dans votre role vous devez : 

• Avoir une formation Ingénieur généraliste en gestion de projet technique
• Connaitre des méthodes et outils de gestion de projet
• Avoir une Expérience technique et confirmée du domaine concerné (Nuclear Safety Culture / militaire)
• Communication / esprit de synthèse/proactivité
• Relationnel Client
• Analyse de risques
• Maitrise des logiciels bureautiques et logiciels métiers (SAP, Sales force…)
• Anglais courant, Une autre langue étrangère serait un plus
• Leadership
• Travail d’équipe
