We are now looking for a 

 

Contract Manager - Asia area

 

to join our team working for a better future. The position is permanent and the preferred location is in in France, at Surgeres office.

 

What you will be doing

 

As a Contract Manager, you will manage all agreements and projects dedicated to our customers in Asia, linked to the diesel engines refurbishments and associated sub-assemblies used for nuclear applications.
You will be responsible for all business related to our customers in Asia and will be reporting to the Agreement Manager within our "Special Application" entity.

 

As Contract Manager, your work will focus on these responsibilities: 

 

  • Ensure management of agreements and projects links to our Asian customers (analyse, study, understand the project in its entirety and ensure the production & financial follow-ups...).
  • Manage a dedicated team
  • Elaborate the contractual strategy of the project, and analyse the customer’s needs.
  • Setting up contract management tables.
  • Advise and support the operational teams in the interpretation of the contractual terms.
  • Write and follow up the correspondences.
  • Identify risks (legal, contractual, operational, commercial, financial...) and propose
  • corrective measures in compliance with the contract.
  • Manage pre-litigation situations with the support of the Legal Manager. 
  • Analyse project developments and contractual impacts, identify commercial levers to improve the operation's margin.
  • Evaluate opportunities to improve the performance and security of the contract.
  • Analyse the indicators and organizational processes of the project that may impact its security.
  • Ensure that contractual deviations are dealt with as soon as possible and their impact and financial compensation.
  • Participate in the creation of the risk management plan and its analysis throughout the project.
  • Lead and manage risks and opportunities by proposing action plans to reduce risks.
  • Be able to guarantee the gross margin level of the project.
  • Participate in the development of amendments.
  • Participate & Contribute to the good relationship with customers, suppliers, partners and subcontractors.

 

To be successful in this role we expect you to have:

 

  • Have a nuclear sensitive /experience – nuclear culture
  • Have an industrial experience
  • Have a diesel engine knowledge would be appreciated
  • Have strong business and customer focus
  • Have excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships
  • Demonstrable negotiation and influencing experience
  • Have good understanding of budgeting and strategic planning
  • Have high attention to detail
  • Be fluent in French, and English professional
  • Hold good time management and organisation skills - able to effectively manage a dynamic workload
  • Be able to work effectively and efficiently independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrate situational and cultural sensitivity.
  • Have 5+ years of experience as project/contract manager
  • Master Degree in Project Management / Engineering
  • International journeys are expected

 

In this role, some travel is required to meet with our customers around the world. Thus, we hope you to be ready to travel approximately 20%, even though most of the meetings are held virtually.

Nous recherchons un Contract Manager pour gérer tous les accords et projets dédiés à nos clients en Asie, liés à la remise à neuf des moteurs diesel et des sous-ensembles associés utilisés pour les applications nucléaires.
En tant que Contract Manager, vous serez responsable de toutes les activités liées à nos clients en Asie.


Rattaché(e) au responsable des contrats au sein de notre entité « Special Application », vous serez chargé(e) de :

 

  • Assurer la gestion des accords et projets liés à nos clients asiatiques (analyser, étudier, comprendre le projet dans sa globalité et assurer les suivis de production & financiers...).
  • Manager une équipe dédiée
  • Elaborer la stratégie contractuelle du projet et analyser les besoins du client.
  • Mettre en place des tableaux de gestion des contrats.
  • Conseiller et soutenir les équipes opérationnelles dans l'interprétation des termes contractuels.
  • Rédiger et suivre les correspondances.
  • Identifier les risques (légaux, contractuels, opérationnels, commerciaux, financiers...) et proposer des mesures correctives dans le respect du contrat.
  • Gérer les situations précontentieuses avec le soutien du responsable juridique.
  • Analyser les évolutions des projets et les impacts contractuels, identifier les leviers commerciaux pour
  • Suivre les KPI liés au périmètre de l’activité.
  • Évaluer les opportunités d'amélioration de la performance et de la sécurité du contrat.
  • Analyser les indicateurs et les processus organisationnels du projet qui peuvent avoir un impact sur sa sécurité.
  • Veiller à ce que les déviations contractuelles soient traitées dans les meilleurs délais et à ce que leurs impacts et leurs compensations financières soient pris en compte.
  • Participer à l'élaboration du plan de gestion des risques et à son analyse tout au long du projet.
  • Diriger et gérer les risques et les opportunités en proposant des plans d'action pour réduire les risques.
  • Être en mesure de garantir le niveau de marge brute du projet.
  • Participer à l'élaboration des amendements.
  • Participer et contribuer aux bonnes relations avec les clients, les fournisseurs, les partenaires et les sous-traitants.

 

Pour réussir dans cette fonction, nous attendons de vous que vous.. :

 

  • Avoir une sensibilité/expérience nucléaire - culture nucléaire
  • Avoir une expérience industrielle
  • Une connaissance des moteurs diesel serait appréciée
  • Avoir une forte orientation commerciale et client
  • Avoir d'excellentes compétences en matière de communication et être capable de nouer des relations
  • Avoir une expérience démontrable de la négociation et de l'influence
  • Avoir une bonne compréhension de la budgétisation et de la planification stratégique
  • Avoir le souci du détail
  • Parler couramment le français et l'anglais
  • Avoir de bonnes compétences en matière de gestion du temps et d'organisation - être capable de gérer efficacement une charge de travail dynamique
  • être capable de travailler efficacement de manière autonome et au sein d'une équipe
  • faire preuve d'une sensibilité aux situations et aux cultures.
  • Avoir plus de 5 ans d'expérience en tant que gestionnaire de projet/contrat.
  • Diplôme de maîtrise en gestion de projet/ingénierie
  • Des déplacements internationaux sont à prévoir.
  • Le poste sera situé en France, au bureau de Surgeres.
