Design Engineer

 

to join our team working for a better future. 

 

The preferred location for the position is in Surgeres, France.

 

What you will be doing 

 

The position is dedicated to the Special Applications (SA) perimeter of Wärtsilä.

 

This entity is dedicated to the complete services of the equipment which can go up to the reconditioning of the emergency engines for certain nuclear power plants in the world and that of the engine of the Leclerc tank for the French army.

 

As Design Engineer your work will focus on these responsibilities: 

 

  • Processing Tech Requests (updating drawings, designing parts), updating data for SAP
  • Updating the technical database to facilitate identification, 
  • Master the links between technical documentation and SAP, 
  •  Guarantee the quality and durability of drawings for UD EDGs and UDX engines.
  • Support the technical experts (technical support, documentation searches on technical subjects, preparation of technical files on components, history, etc.), 
  • Updating drawings 
  • Involvement in more complex technical issues (e.g. precise definition of the entire engine piping package using drawings, etc.).
  • Management of existing paper archives and bundles of drawings stored on servers (Dralib, etc.)
  • Ensure the back up of technical information department when necessary

 

To be successful in this role we expect you to have: 

 

  • Bac. degree 
  • 5-10 years work experience
  • Minimum 5 years experience in an industrial design office
  • Master data expertise
  • Intermediate English knowledge  (min. B1-B2) 
  • Advanced knowlege of Office Pack
  • Advanced knowlege of SAP
  • Ability to convince your interlocutors
  • Organization & Autonomy 
  • Team spirit and interpersonal skills - you have a sense of service
  • Ability to optimize the existing

Qu'est-ce que tu vas faire
 
Le poste est dédié au périmètre Special Applications (SA) de Wärtsilä.

 

Cette entité est dédiée aux services complets des équipements pouvant aller jusqu’au reconditionnement des moteurs de secours pour certaines centrales nucléaires dans le monde et celui du moteur du char Leclerc pour l’armée Française

 

En tant que Design Engineer  votre travail se concentrera sur les missions suivantes:

 

  • Traitement de Tech Requests   (mise à jour de plans, conception de pièces), mise à jour de données  pour SAP
  • Assurer la mise à jour de la base de données techniques pour faciliter l’identification, 
  • Maîtriser les liens entre documentation technique et SAP, 
  • Garantir la qualité et la pérennité des plans pour les moteurs UD EDGs et UDX.
  • Supporter les experts techniques (support technique, recherche de documentation sur sujet technique, élaboration de dossiers techniques sur composants, historique…), 
  • Mise à jour de plans 
  • Implication sur des sujets techniques plus lourds (par exemple : définition précise par plans de tout le lot tuyauterie moteur …)
  • Maitrise des archives papier encore existantes et des liasses de plans stockées sur serveurs (Dralib, etc…)
  • Assurer le back up du service technique lorsque ce sera nécessaire

 

Pour réussir dans ce rôle nous attendons de vous:
 

  • Bac +2
  • Expérience de 5 -10 ans 
  • Expérience de 5 ans minimum au sein d’un bureau d’étude industriel
  • Maitrise de la gestion de données
  • Niveau Anglais Niveau Anglais (B1-B2)
  • Avancé Pack Office competencies
  • Avancé SAP competencies
  • Capacité à convaincre ses interlocuteurs
  • Rigueur, Organisation, Autonomie
  • Esprit d’équipe et capacité relationnelle, vous avez le sens du service
  • Capacité à optimiser l’existant
