We are now looking for a Coordinator to join our Field Services team of 22 people working for a more sustainable future through Special Applications activities. The preferred location for the position is at Surgères (Charente Maritime), in France.

 

What will you be doing


In this position, your work will include the coordination of the activities and resources (Manpower, Technical & Logistical means) in the Field Service area of the Special Applications branch (nuclear and military activities). You will drive your projects from end to end and will be accountable for the customer satisfaction, your business margins and the compliance to quality, safety and environmental regulations.
 

In this position, your work will include Business and Project Management. On a typical day, you might be starting by customer relationship management with financial work and end the day with technical and manpower coordination. You will not be working on this alone, even though the work requires a high level of independency, as you will have deal with your teammates (FS coordinator, Manpower coordinator and FS superintendents).
 

For us to be the best match, we expect you to have a good understanding of diesel engines generators operations or maintenance in a nuclear power plant environment. As an ideal candidate, you have gained experience from Field Services activities. For you to succeed in the position, we hope you to have project management competences, basic financial and contract management skills and act as a self-driving manager in your business.
 

As Special Applications Field Services Coordinator, your work will focus on these responsibilities:

 

  • Management of the customer relationship,
  • Taking part to the commercial proposals making along with the Sales management team,
  • Being accountable for the right execution of the purchase orders, the compliance to the objectives on business margins, schedule and customer satisfaction,
  • Projects driving from end to end, 
  • Superintendents support on technical issues, with solution-oriented mindset, and work definition,
  • Taking part to the Safety culture promotion prior and during the yard’s performance,
  • Stakeholder’s coordination: Manpower, Sales, Technical experts, Quality team, Safety advisors,
  • Building of the financial and technical reports,
  • Management of the feedback process.

 

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree graduation (BAC+2-4) mainly in industrial mechanics area,
  • Basic financial and contract management skills,
  • Good project management competences,
  • Good English skills,
  • Office software skills.

 

And ideally:

 

  • Gained experience in combustion engines (preferentially on Wartsila products) and in field services,
  • Appetency in customer relationship management and ability to understand the customer needs,
  • Knowledge on nuclear power plant environment.
  • Knowledge on SAP software,
  • Good Spanish skills.

 

Accurate in administrative tasks, you are flexible and resilient, act with charism, teamwork spirit and diplomacy.
In this role, some travel is required to meet with our customers around the world. Thus, we hope you to be ready to travel approximately 30%, even though most of the meetings are held virtually .

Ce que vous ferez
 

Dans le cadre de ce poste, vous serez chargé(e) de coordonner les activités et les ressources (main-d'œuvre, moyens techniques et logistiques) dans le secteur Field Service de la branche Applications spéciales (activités nucléaires et militaires). Vous mènerez vos projets de bout en bout et serez responsable de la satisfaction du client, de vos marges commerciales et du respect des règles de qualité, de sécurité et d'environnement.
 

Dans le cadre de cette fonction, vous serez amené(e) à gérer des affaires et des projets. Au cours d'une journée type, vous commencerez par la gestion des relations avec les clients et le travail financier, et vous terminerez la journée par la coordination technique et la coordination de la main-d'œuvre. Vous ne travaillerez pas seul, même si le travail exige un haut niveau d'indépendance, car vous devrez traiter avec vos coéquipiers (coordinateur FS, coordinateur Manpower et surintendants FS).
 

Pour que nous puissions vous trouver, nous attendons de vous que vous ayez une bonne connaissance de l'exploitation ou de la maintenance des générateurs de moteurs diesel dans un environnement de centrale nucléaire. En tant que candidat idéal, vous avez acquis de l'expérience dans les activités de Field Services. Pour réussir dans ce poste, nous espérons que vous avez des compétences en gestion de projet, des compétences de base en gestion financière et contractuelle et que vous agissez en tant que gestionnaire autonome dans votre entreprise.
 

En tant que coordinateur des services extérieurs pour les applications spéciales, votre travail se concentrera sur les responsabilités suivantes :
 

  • Gestion des relations avec les clients,
  • Participer à l'élaboration des propositions commerciales avec l'équipe de gestion des ventes,
  • Vous serez responsable de la bonne exécution des bons de commande, du respect des objectifs en matière de marges commerciales, de calendrier et de satisfaction du client,
  • Conduite de projets de bout en bout, 
  • Soutien aux surintendants sur les questions techniques, avec un état d'esprit orienté vers les solutions et la définition du travail,
  • Participer à la promotion de la culture de la sécurité avant et pendant les activités du chantier,
  • Coordination des parties prenantes : Coordination des parties prenantes : main-d'œuvre, ventes, experts techniques, équipe qualité, conseillers en sécurité,
  • Élaboration des rapports financiers et techniques,
  • Gestion du processus de retour d'information.

 

Pour réussir dans ce rôle, nous attendons de vous que vous ayez :

 

  • Un diplôme de niveau BAC+2-4, principalement dans le domaine de la mécanique industrielle
  • Des compétences de base en matière de gestion financière et contractuelle
  • De bonnes compétences en gestion de projet
  • Bonne connaissance de l'anglais
  • Des compétences en matière de logiciels de bureautique.

 

Et idéalement :

 

  • Expérience acquise dans le domaine des moteurs à combustion (de préférence sur les produits Wartsila) et des services sur le terrain,
  • Appétence pour la gestion des relations avec les clients et capacité à comprendre leurs besoins,
  • Connaissance de l'environnement des centrales nucléaires.
  • Connaissance du logiciel SAP,
  • Bonne connaissance de l'espagnol.

 

Précis dans les tâches administratives, vous êtes flexible et résilient, vous agissez avec charisme, esprit d'équipe et diplomatie.
 

Dans le cadre de cette fonction, certains déplacements sont nécessaires pour rencontrer nos clients dans le monde entier. Nous espérons donc que vous serez prêt(e) à voyager environ 30%, même si la plupart des réunions se déroulent virtuellement.
