MSS2 Technical Expert

We are now looking for a Technical Expert to join our Special application team working for our military busines as main activity (polyvalence required with nuclear business). The location for the position is necessarily in Surgères, France.


What will you be doing

As part of the signing of a new military contract for logistical support, spare parts supply and diesel engine repair, we are recruiting a technical expert to ensure the follow-up.


Reporting to the Technical Assistance Manager within our "Special Application" entity, you will be responsible for :

1. Engine requalification follow-up:

  • Customer PVET reception, analysis and monitoring table
  • Depollution monitoring and synthesis
  • Contradictory inventory
  • Reform files
  • Creation and processing of nonconformity files (FNC) in accordance with internal notifications (SAP)
  • BL expé motors

2. Monitoring, synthesis and monitoring of obsolescence:

  • Engine parts
  • Tools

3. Tool monitoring

4. Technical support for nuclear contracts (UD45, UD33, as occasional back-up, if required)


To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

  • Proven working experience as a technical expert (Diesel engines).
  • Advanced MS Office skills.
  • Technical projects management and supervision skills.
  • Decision making ability and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
  • Time management and organization skills.
  • Good sociability and contact with other people.
  • Mandatory to speak French. English should be appreciated.
