Obsolescence Project MAnagement Apprentice

We are hiring an Obsolescence Projects Apprentice at our Surgères site (200 employees), which specializes in the reconditioning of high-speed engines serving as emergency diesel generator to Nuclear Power Plants worldwide (UD engines) and as propulsive engine for Leclerc battle tank (V8X engine).

What you will be doing

You will evolve within the Obsolescence Projects Department which is made of a multidisciplinary team including Project Management, Purchasing & Quality.

Throughout your apprenticeship, you will progressively develop your skills in project management and obsolescence handling, with increasing levels of responsibility.

The integration and development is prepared as follows:

• first, perform a progressive ramp-up in acquiring knowledge of our organization as well as of our obsolescence processes,
• contribute to the improvement of the department by:

• analyzing existing tools and processes,
• proposing and developing adapted solutions (templates, dashboards, checklists),
• ensuring understanding of these tools by the team and their appropriate implementation,

• finally, take responsibility for the resolution of an obsolescence case.

You will benefit from close support from team members to ensure your development and progressive autonomy.

You will also be working in cooperation with various departments of our Organization such as Qualification, Product, and Technical Management, Supply, Sales, Workshop.

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have the following skills: 

• currently following a Master’s Degree in Project Management and Mechanics,
• knowledge in project management and manufacturing processes of mechanical parts,
• excellent analytical and summarizing skills,
• ability to work within a project team,
• good level of English (written and spoken),
• at ease with IT tools (Pack Office especially Excel, ideally knowledge in SAP and PowerBI),
• rigorous and curious,
• ability to proactively seek information and interact with stakeholders

Apprenti Ingénieur – Gestion de Projets Obsolescence

Nous recrutons un Apprenti Projet Obsolescence pour un contrat de 3 ans sur notre site de Surgères (200 employés), spécialisé dans le reconditionnement de moteurs diesel de secours pour les centrales nucléaires du monde entier, ainsi que pour le moteur de propulsion V8X du char Leclerc.

Ce que vous ferez

Au sein du département Projets Obsolescence, vous évoluerez dans une équipe pluridisciplinaire (Gestion de Projet, Achats, Qualité).

Tout au long de votre apprentissage, vous développerez progressivement vos compétences en gestion de projet et en traitement d’obsolescence, avec un niveau de responsabilité croissant.

Votre intégration et votre développement au sein de notre service se déroulera de la manière suivante :

• comprendre l’environnement de travail (organisation du servies et des procédés relatifs à l’obsolescence),
• contribuer à l’amélioration du service en :

• analysant les outils et pratiques existants,
• proposant des améliorations adaptées,
• développant des supports (templates, outils de suivi, checklists),
• accompagnant leur appropriation par l’équipe,

• piloter la résolution d’une obsolescence.

Vous serez accompagné par des membres de l’équipe afin de garantir votre montée en compétence et votre autonomie progressive.

En plus des interfaces quotidiennes au sein de l’équipe, vous travaillerez en coopération avec le Service Technique, l’Atelier, le service Achat, la Qualité, et les Ventes.

Pour réussir dans ce rôle, vous détenez les qualités suivantes:

• étudiant en école d’ingénieur généraliste,

• connaissances en gestion de projets et mécanique, idéalement procédés de fabrication de pièces mécaniques,

• excellentes compétences analytiques et de synthèse,

• capacité à s’intégrer au sein d'une équipe projet,

• bon niveau d'anglais (écrit et parlé),

• à l'aise avec les outils informatiques (Pack Office surtout Excel, idéalement une première expérience avec SAP et PowerBI),

• rigoureux(se) et curieux(se),

• capacité à rechercher activement l’information et à interagir avec les interlocuteurs internes.
