Wärstilä France is hiring a Production Line Manager, based in Surgères, France.
As part of the development of our industrial activities, we are looking for a Production Line Manager to lead a dynamic team and contribute to the performance of our Surgères site.
What you will do:
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and internal regulations by all team members in your area.
- Manage and lead a production team: activity planning, quality monitoring, administrative management (leave, training, etc.).
- Foster a positive work environment and support the development of individual and collective skills.
- Develop and monitor a training plan, update the skills reference framework, conduct annual performance reviews, and set individual objectives.
- Monitor and drive performance indicators for your production line.
- Ensure short- and medium-term workload/capacity alignment.
- Report activity progress to the workshop manager, identify bottlenecks and potential risks.
- Lead a continuous improvement plan for your area.
- Participate in recruitment processes in collaboration with the HR department.
What you will bring:
- A 2-year technical degree (BTS) in Industrial Maintenance, Industrial Management, Production Management, or Team Leadership.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in engine assembly or testing and team management.
- Proficiency in production planning, supply chain management, continuous improvement, quality management, and workplace safety.
- Knowledge of nuclear standards and culture is a plus.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement tools (Kaizen, 5S, PDCA, Kanban, etc.).
- English proficiency: reading and speaking at B2 level.

Dans le cadre du développement de nos activités industrielles, nous recherchons un(e) Responsable de ligne de production pour piloter une équipe dynamique et contribuer à la performance de notre site de Surgères.
Ce que vous ferez :

Garantir le respect des règles de sécurité, de qualité et du règlement intérieur par l’ensemble des collaborateurs de votre secteur.

Manager et animer une équipe de production : planification des activités, suivi qualité, gestion administrative (congés, formations…).

Favoriser un climat de travail positif et le développement des compétences individuelles et collectives.

Élaborer et suivre un plan de formation, mettre à jour le référentiel de compétences, conduire les entretiens annuels et fixer les objectifs individuels.

Piloter les indicateurs de performance de votre ligne de production.

Assurer l’adéquation charge/capacité à court et moyen terme.

Reporter l’avancement de l’activité au responsable d’atelier, identifier les points de blocage et les risques.

Conduire un plan d’amélioration continue de votre secteur.

Participer aux recrutements en lien avec la fonction RH.
Ce que vous apporterez :

Bac + 2 BTS MCI(E), Gestion Industrielle ou Gestion de la production ou Leadership et gestion d’équipe

Expérience assemblages ou essais moteurs et management 5 ans à 10ans

Maitrise gestion des plannings de production, gestion de la chaîne d’approvisionnement, l’amélioration continue, la gestion de la qualité et la sécurité au travail.

Culture et Connaissance des référentiels nucléaire est un plus

Amelioration continues (Kaizen, 5S, PDCA ,Kanban,…)

Anglais lu et parlé niveau scolaire B2
