Wärtsilä Special Applications is recruiting a
Sales support Engineer H/F
on permanent basis at our Surgères site (150 employees).
Other possible locations Paris-La Défense or Mulhouse, specializing in the reconditioning of emergency engines for nuclear power plants and military engines.
What will you be doing
Attached to the Sales / Special Applications product line, you are in direct contact with customers and the sales team of the dedicated business. You will be responsible for coordinating the development of technical offers and ensuring that the proposed solution meets customer requirements
As Sales Support Engineer you will focus on these responsibilities:
- Identify the appropriate solutions / prepare quotes adapted to customers’ requirements and procedure of the Sales Dpt,
- Assess the technical and environmental risks of the solution,
- Configure the solution in the CRM tool according to the defined needs,
- Ensure that deadlines set by the Account Manager are met,
- Be responsible for supporting the Sales Team while presenting the offer to the Customer,
- Participate, if necessary, in the customer meeting with the Sales team
The below will enable you to shine in this role:
- We are looking for an energetic and ambitious, enthusiastic, and commercial talent who has an affinity with Emergency Diesel Generator for Nuclear Power Plants.
- You are an Engineer with minimum 5 years’ experience in Sales energy field
- You are customer and supplier-oriented, are self-reliant, can work independently as well as in an international team.
- Being part of a multinational team with a matrix structure, it is important to be able to operate independently and realize at the same time how and where to address and align issues that will affect other parts of the organization.
- You can handle multiple projects simultaneously and achieve results. In addition, you are independent and show initiative with an entrepreneurial spirit.
- You have strong analytical thinking capability and excellent communication skills in English, verbal and written.
