UD45 Mechanician

The entity Special Applications (SA), is dedicated to the complete services of equipment that can go up to the reconditioning of the engines of emergency for certain nuclear power plants in the world and that of the engines of the tank Leclerc for the French army. 

We are now looking for a UD45 mechanician as a permanent basis at our Surgères site (150 employees). Reporting to the Manager of the UD45 line of the Surgères workshop, you will be involved in the success of our mission with our customers.


What will you be doing?


As UD45 Mechanician, your work will focus on these responsibilities:

- Complete disassembly and assembly of engines and subassemblies
- Clean parts and perform visual and dimensional checks
- Change the wear parts and in some cases perform a functional test
- Fill in the required documents and reports (engine quality records, control certificates and /or of operation, etc.)
- Perform interventions within the test bench team as needed
All in compliance with nuclear procedures and security rules


You will shine in this role when you :

- hold of a basic training in mechanics (BAC Pro, Bac +2/ BTS MCI ideally)

- grant 5 to 10 years experience in the field

- have good knowledge of industrial engines
- demonstrate rigour, accuracy and pay close attention to the Quality and Safety aspects.

- are comfortable with the IT tools (Office Pack and SAP).

- are a team player and adaptable

- can also work independently.

- are a strong advocate for improving existing operating modes.

Wärtsilä France est une société de services spécialisée en solutions énergétiques, en service après-vente sur des moteurs gaz et diesel, automatismes et propulsion. Notre entreprise emploie aujourd'hui 450 collaborateurs en France, pour des clients basés dans le monde entier.
L’entité Special Applications (SA), est dédiée aux Services complets des équipements pouvant aller jusqu’au reconditionnement des moteurs de secours pour certaines centrales nucléaires dans le monde et celui des moteurs du char Leclerc pour l’armée française.
Nous recrutons en CDI sur notre site de Surgères (150 salariés). Rattaché(e) au Responsable au Responsable de la ligne UD45 de l’atelier de Surgères, vous serez prenante du succès de notre mission auprès de nos clients.

Missions principales:

Vos missions seront les suivantes :
- Réaliser le démontage et montage complet de moteurs et sous-ensembles,
- Nettoyer les pièces et effectuer des contrôles visuels et dimensionnels,
- Changer les pièces d’usure et dans certains cas procéder à un test de bon fonctionnement,
- Renseigner les documents et reporting obligatoires (dossiers qualité moteur, certificats de contrôle et / ou de fonctionnement…),
- Réaliser des interventions au sein de l’équipe bancs d’essais,
Le tout dans le respect des procédures nucléaires et des règles de sécurité.


Expérience Requise :

Titulaire d’une formation de base en mécanique (Bac +2/ BTS MCI idéalement) et disposant de 5 à 10 ans d’expérience dans le domaine, vous possédez une bonne connaissance des moteurs industriels. Vous faites preuve de rigueur, de précision et êtes très attentif(ve) aux aspects Qualité et Sécurité. Vous à l’aise avec les outils informatiques (Pack Office et SAP). A l’aise au sein d’une équipe, vous savez faire preuve d’adaptabilité et pouvez également travailler en autonomie. Vous êtes force de proposition en matière d’amélioration des modes de fonctionnement existants. Pour vous, la satisfaction client est une valeur forte.
