Workshop Mechanic

Wärtsilä France is a service company specialising in energy solutions, after-sales service for gas and diesel engines, automation and propulsion. The company currently employs 450 people in France, serving customers all over the world.

 

We are recruiting for a

 

Workshop Mechanic   

 

contract at our Surgères site (150 employees).  Reporting to the Head of the UD45/Nuclear line at the Surgères workshop, you will be instrumental in the success of our mission with our customers.
 
What will you be doing

 
As Workshop Mechanic you will be responsible for the following tasks:
 

  • Complete disassembly and assembly of engines and subassemblies
  • Clean parts and perform visual and dimensional checks
  • Change the wear parts and in some cases perform a functional test
  • Fill in the required documents and reports (engine quality records, control certificates and /or of operation, etc.)
  • Perform interventions within the test bench team as needed
  • All of this in compliance with nuclear procedures and safety rules.

 
You will shine in this role when you:
 

  • hold of a basic training in mechanics (BAC Pro, Bac +2/ BTS MCI ideally)
  • grant 5 to 10 years experience in the field
  • have good knowledge of industrial engines
  • demonstrate rigour, accuracy and pay close attention to the Quality and Safety aspects
  • are comfortable with the IT tools (Office Pack and SAP)
  • are a team player and adaptable
  • can also work independently
  • are a strong advocate for improving existing operating modes
  • for you, customer satisfaction is a strong value.
  • Required language: French fluently

Nous recrutons en CDI sur notre site de Surgères (150 salariés), spécialisé dans le reconditionnement de moteur rapide.  Rattaché(e) au Responsable de la ligne dédiée aux moteurs nucléaires UD45, vous serez prenante du succès de notre mission auprès de nos clients.
 
Vos missions seront les suivantes:
 

  • Réaliser le démontage complet du moteur,
  • Expertiser et contrôler les composants du moteur
  • Changer les pièces d’usure et dans certains cas procéder à un test de bon fonctionnement,
  • Réaliser le montage complet du moteur,
  • Renseigner les documents et reporting obligatoires (dossiers qualité moteur, certificats de contrôle et / ou de fonctionnement…) ,
  • Le tout dans le respect des procédures nucléaires et des règles de sécurité.

 
Expérience Requise: 
 

  • Titulaire d’une formation de base en mécanique (Bac Pro, BTS) et disposant de 5 ans d’expérience dans le domaine, vous possédez une bonne connaissance des moteurs industriels.
  • Vous faites preuve de rigueur, de précision et êtes très attentif(ve) aux aspects Qualité et Sécurité.
  • A l’aise au sein d’une équipe, vous savez faire preuve d’adaptabilité et pouvez également travailler en autonomie.
