Workshop Logistics Coordinator

We are now looking for a Workshop Logistics Coordinator  to join our team in Vancouver/Surrey (Canada).

 


What You Will Be Doing?

As a Tool Logistics Coordinator, you will play a key role in managing and maintaining tooling and workshop resources to ensure smooth and efficient field service operations. You will oversee inventory control, shipment coordination, and certification processes, while supporting the team with accurate documentation and compliance. Your work will directly contribute to operational readiness and safety standards across all service activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage tool inventory, including shipment tracking to site and back to workshop.
  • Pack and unpack tooling for field service work.
  • Analyze and help resolve tool-related obstacles and supply issues.
  • Perform packaging, cleaning, and tool inspections.
  • Organize and maintain the tool crib.
  • Keep Tooling Management System up to date and coordinate tool shipments to and from calibration companies.
  • Organize certification of rigging gear for workshop and field service.
  • Receive, check, and store incoming workshop parts and consumables in an organized and easily accessible manner.
  • Manage PPE stock and distribution.
  • Plan and forecast inventory: complete frequent inventory cycle counts and ensure parts and consumables are available when needed.
  • Perform workshop maintenance as required.

 

 

To Be Successful in This Role, We Expect You to Have:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in workshop and tool coordination.
  • Basic mechanical/trade knowledge (asset).
  • Ability to analyze manual measurement devices (comparator, vernier, micrometer).
  • Some proficiency in reading technical prints and assembly drawings.
  • Experience with systems such as SAP, WeBuy, and/or Tool Management Systems (asset).
  • Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Energetic, resourceful, and creative about finding solutions, with a “growth” mindset.
  • Ability to work in a multinational workshop environment.
  • Must be authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship.

 

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate must live within a 30minute drive of the Surrey office, as unplanned attendance may be required from time to time.
  • The candidate must be flexible with their work schedule (including occasional weekends).
