Project Engineer

Your main responsibilities are

  • Implementation of design and engineering tasks and schedules for document/software and equipment deliveries and services.
  • Stakeholder management, external and internal stakeholders.
  • Quality assurance of deliveries, documentation, and software.
  • Participating in internal project status and milestone reviews.
  • Advise on any changes to design and potential cost impacts.
  • Calculate the actual deviation with TA/Contract and report to the team leader.
  • Assist other team members as required and Resolve Quality/Design issues promptly.

You will shine in this role when you have:

  • Bsc in a relevant subject, e.g. electric, electronic or software engineering with focus on Automation systems.
  • 3 to 4 years Working experience from marine industry or industrial automation.
  • Good communication skills in Mandarin (native) and English, writing and verbally.
  • Cyber security knowledge (e.g. understands IEC 62443-3 and or IEC 61162-450 & 460 requirements).
  • Skilled in design tools such as AutoCAD, Eplan, Solidworks etc.
  • Familiar with Class rules. Such as DNV-GL, BV, LR, CCS, ABS, KR, RINA,NK etc.
  • Knowledge of PLC language Such as Structured Text, ladder diagram etc.
  • Knowledge of ship piping.
  • Knowledge of Serial Interface communication, Modbus RTU/ASCII, Modbus TCP/IP, CAN-OPEN,NMEA0183,Profinet etc.
  • Ability to work under pressure& perform the task independently as assgined
  • Ability to travel
  • Cost awareness& effectiveness& Time management
