Join our dynamic team at Catalyst Systems, where we develop, manage, and deliver world-class emission control solutions using selective catalytic reduction (SCR) for Wärtsilä engines. Our products reduce engine NOx emissions, enabling compliance with e.g. IMO Tier III standards.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Product Expert to join our Catalyst Systems Products Technical Management team. You will serve as our local product expert in Suzhou, China, acting as a vital link between our Chinese stakeholders and the rest of the Catalyst Systems organization and Technical Management team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support NOR product commissioning work (both back office and on-site) and provide feedback to experts in Finland.
- Provide technical support for NOR products to local stakeholders, including customers.
- Support manufacturing, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) QA/QC and testing planning at the Wärtsilä Suzhou factory (WSZ) for technical questions related to NOR products.
- Support change management for NOR design.
- Participate in the component localization process.
- Participate in customer and class society FAT and inspections.
- Assist with troubleshooting NOR product deliveries.
Qualifications:
- B.Sc., M.Sc., or higher in Electrical or Automation Engineering.
- PLC/UNIC knowledge and experience.
- Basic understanding of process and mechanical engineering.
- Proficiency in English and Chinese, both oral and written.
- Willingness and ability to travel.
- Proactive, systematic, and organized approach to work.
- Strong communication and customer orientation skills.
- Experience in the marine and/or power plant industry is a plus.
- Experience with SCR systems, other emission control solutions, and/or engines is beneficial.
