Electrical Superintendent

Your main responsibilities are

  • Lead of team of advisors/supervisors  assigned to site.
  • Interact professionally with customers during the work execution.
  • Perform internal and external progress status of the assigned work.
  • Creating the Work Reports.
  • Ensure that the work is executed according to Wärtsilä QEHS guidelines and site procedures.
  • Follow-up and report on the status site execution to Project Team.
  • Ensure safe and reliable function of the plant and equipment.  
  • Continuously seek solutions according to best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement on developing and capturing technical problem-solving knowledge to enable other organizations to effectively resolve customer problems and inquiries.
  • Ensure that safe and calibrated test equipment are used.
  • Ownership of administrative responsibilities including, but not limited to: service reports, issue logging/tracking, job safety analysis, quality compliance.

You will shine in this role when you have:

  • Leadership experience in energy business environments
  • Valid Australian Electrical supervision certificate
  • Understanding of the trades and disciplines involved in site operations
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, together with a commitment to achieving safety, quality, and productivity outcomes.
  • Ensuring that all electrical work is carried out in a manner consistent with Wartsila requirements.
  • A current Australian Drivers Licence
  • Thorough understanding of site business requirements
  • A strong commitment to QHS&E
