FS&WS Manager

The FS&WS Manager will lead the WAU FS&WS Team in the Services delivery and will be responsible for meeting the FS&WS KPIs.

 

Your main responsibilities are

  • Lead, coach, mentor & manage the team effectively
  • Ensure FS & WS processes are implemented in all relevant sites
  • Strive to enhance team spirit and a high-performance culture
  • Continuously improve motivation and results of the team
  • Ensure jobs are coordinated and executed to full customer satisfaction, both internal and external
  • Establish mid and long term resource planning & training programmes for staff
  • Implement effective procedures ensuring job margins are monitored whilst in progress and invoices are sent out immediately on job completion
  • Timely preparation of field service quotations to internal requests
  • Smooth cooperation with Services Sales organisation and other business units
  • Provide staff with adequate equipment, tools and kits
  • Ensure that the Workshop is managed efficiently
  • Record, maintenance and inspection of equipment & tools
  • Calibration records for workshop
  • Representation Field Service & Workshop in meetings and events
  • Update and maintain exchange component stock
  • Demonstrate commitment to QEHS and actively participate in Wartsila initiatives
  • Be a team player: support colleagues and superiors, share information, contribute to a friendly work atmosphere

Your accountabilities are, but not limited to:

  • Utilization & Invoiced Utilization rates (UR and IUR)
  • Billable Ratio (BR)
  • Margin and department cost of Field Service & Workshop
  • Capital investments for tools and equipment
  • Time to Invoicing
  • Clean and updated FS/WS WIP (work in progress)
  • Customer satisfaction
  • Skilled & Competence development of Field Service & Workshop personnel
  • Quality of work
  • Quality and Time Lag of Service Reports
  • Zero injury time 

As an ideal candidate, you should have:

  • B.Sc. in Engineering or equivalent level of education
  • Experience with Wartsila products and processes
  • Have 10 years of progressive experience in managing resources, operations and workshop
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent customer relationship skills
  • Australian citizen or with PR visa
