HR Manager – Asia Pacific

 

The HR Manager – Asia Pacific is responsible for delivering HR operations, programs, and employee support activities across the region. The role focuses on managing local payroll, expense, and benefits providers as well as employee relations, compliance, employee engagement, and driving effective performance management practices. The position plays a key role in ensuring consistent implementation of HR initiatives while fostering a productive and positive workplace culture.

Reports To: Vice President, Human Resources

 

 

Key Responsibilities

HR Program Execution within the Region

  • Implement annual HR programs and initiatives across the region.
  • Support compensation review processes and policy implementation.
  • Ensure consistent application of HR processes and standards.

 

Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Manage employee relations matters, investigations, and workplace concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, collective agreements, and company policies.
  • Provide guidance to managers on performance, attendance, conduct, and workplace issues.
  • Support audits and compliance with reporting requirements.

 

Employee Engagement

  • Lead regional employee engagement activities and recognition programs.
  • Support employee communication initiatives and action plans resulting from engagement surveys.
  • Coordinate wellness, inclusion, and employee experience initiatives.

 

Talent & Performance Management

  • Coordinate annual performance management and talent review processes.
  • Support succession planning and employee development planning activities.
  • Assist managers in identifying development opportunities for employees.

 

Talent Acquisition

  • Lead regional recruitment activities and workforce planning efforts.
  • Partner with hiring managers throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.
  • Support employer branding and candidate experience initiatives.

 

Talent Acquisition Program Manager

  • Lead the implementation of Talent Acquisition programs globally while partnering with regional HR Managers for implementation.
  • Develop employer branding and candidate experience initiatives.
  • Work with external agencies and vendors to support program success.
  • Monitor talent acquisition effectiveness and feedback metrics.
 

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive HR management or HR generalist experience.
  • Strong knowledge of employment regulations across Asia and MEA countries.
  • Experience leading Talent Acquisition and candidate experience programs.
  • Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent English required; additional regional language capabilities preferred.
