Are you ready to lead and innovate in the dynamic field of energy storage? Wärtsilä is seeking a passionate and experienced Manager for Site Management & Commissioning in the MEA region. Join us in driving the future of sustainable energy solutions!

 

Responsibilities:
Resource Planning: Strategically plan and assign Site Management & Commissioning resources for all Wärtsilä Energy Storage projects in Australia and other Asia-Pacific markets.
Collaboration: Develop strong collaboration with the Energy Storage Project management and delivery team to ensure seamless project execution.
Subcontractor Development: Build a robust local pool of subcontractors providing site management & commissioning resources.
Project Oversight: Oversee the electrical installation and commissioning processes and activities at Energy Storage project sites.
Leadership: Lead and manage your team towards achieving project goals and objectives.
Line Management: Perform line manager duties for your subordinates, fostering a supportive and productive work environment.
Innovation: Create innovative solutions and concepts for Energy Storage project site resourcing.
Support: Provide support to site & mobility personnel in work execution, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
Competence Development: Ensure continuous competence development within your team.
Monitoring & Reporting: Lead, monitor, and report the status of site activities and resources in your regions.
Forecasting: Accurately forecast site resource needs in your regions to ensure optimal project planning.
Teamwork: Promote teamwork and collaboration with the Energy Storage Project & Delivery team.

Qualifications:
Education:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
Experience:Proven experience in site management and commissioning within the energy storage or related industry.
Technical Skills:Strong understanding of electrical installation and commissioning processes.
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
Project Management: Proficiency in project management tools and techniques, with a track record of successful project delivery.
Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions.
Competence Development: Experience in fostering competence development within teams.
Forecasting: Ability to accurately forecast resource needs and manage project timelines.
