Manager, Trade Finance, Energy Storage Business

Your Role and Responsibilities:
As a Manager, Trade Finance, you will provide trade finance advisory in compliance with relevant ICC rules, legislation, and company policies. Your main focus will be on providing financial sales support to the Energy Storage Business Sales function and performing creditworthiness analysis of contractual counterparties when required. You will also participate in training internal stakeholders on trade finance-related matters as needed. Tasks can be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests.

 

Location: Sydney CBD, NSW, Australia

 

Requirements:

  • BSc. or MSc. in Finance/Economics, LL.B., LL.M., or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in trade finance-related tasks in an international setting
  • Experience working with the Sales department and external customers
  • Experience in contracting (experience in Energy, Infrastructure, or Construction business settings is a plus)
  • Experience in risk management is a plus
  • Good command of English
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills

The starting salary for this position would be determined with consideration of the successful candidate’s relevant education, individual skill set, level of experience applicable to the role they are being offered and consideration of internal equity.
