We are now looking for a
Junior Dive Equipment Technician
to join our team. The position is permanent, full-time and the preferred location is in Terneuzen, Netherlands. Candidates for this position should reside within a daily commuting distance of our office and be European citizens or hold a permanent residency visa.
What will you be doing
In this exciting entry position as a Dive Equipment Technician, you will play a vital part in maintaining, testing, and repairing our dive equipment. Your primary responsibility will be ensuring our dive teams' safety and reliability by guaranteeing they are equipped with well-maintained gear. You will work alongside a passionate team, receiving guidance and support from our experienced Dive Equipment Technicians. We are looking for someone with a solid grasp of electronics, pneumatics, or hydraulics to excel in this position. An ideal candidate will also possess a genuine passion for diving. To thrive, you must have a proactive problem-solving mindset, good working ethics, adhere to punctuality, and embrace a continuous learning mentality.

What are your main tasks and responsibilities?
- You will be responsible for supporting the team in conducting periodic maintenance tasks, conducting necessary tests, and performing repairs on our diving equipment. This involves following our company procedures and adhering to industry guidelines to ensure the safety and functionality of the equipment.
- You will play a role in managing the inventory of the diving store. This includes assisting with stock replenishment of spare parts and consumables, documenting inventory levels, and processing related paperwork.
- You will be involved in various logistical aspects of diving operations. This includes assisting in the preparation and organization of diving equipment and resources required, as well as facilitating their mobilization, demobilization, and receipt.
- You will utilize relevant IT tools to report on job maintenance activities and update the preventive maintenance systems.
What do we expect from you?
- A solid understanding of electrical, electronic, mechanical, or hydraulic engineering. This expertise will enable you to diagnose and address technical issues related to dive equipment effectively.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, such as Word and Excel, is necessary for performing administrative tasks, generating reports, and maintaining documentation related to the maintenance and repair of dive equipment.
- Good communication skills are essential in this position.
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written, Dutch is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure and flexibility for sporadic overtime/weekend work.
