Sales Support:

We are now looking for a Sales Support to join our Sales Support Netherlands Line Solutions team located in Terneuzen, the Netherlands.

 

What will you be doing

In this position, your work will include

  • Generate customer-specific solutions, specifications and quotations according to needs of Sales, for SLS portfolio for New Build and Aftermarket business (or at least a mindset that is REALLY oriented towards that)
  • Bid management
  • Evaluate inquiries and register/maintain opportunity information in CRM
  • Configure solution according to defined needs
  • Preparing cost calculations according to directives and agreed targets (the new tool in CRM is gonna help a lot but some sort of awareness is needed)
  • Evaluate technical and environmental risks of the solution.
  • Ensure that response time for sales inquiries / request /orders are met.
  • Perform technical assistance to Sales and customers

 

For us to be the best match, we expect you to have sales support or sales skills and experience from working in the maritime industry is a plus. As an ideal candidate, you have gained technical and/or sales experience from previous roles. For you to succeed in the position, we hope you to have knowledge in CRM Sales Force tools and a technical background related to the shipping industry.

 

As Sales Support, your work will focus on these responsibilities:

  • Technical education or equivalent qualifications as a combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role with responsibility for the collation of costs and invoices.
  • Excellent organizational skills and customer empathy.
  • Strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
  • Demonstrable team working skills and the ability to adjust and re-plan in dynamic situations.
  • A working knowledge and commercial administration processes.
  • You are passionate about SLS business and willing to drive it to the next level
  • Experience in Marine Industry
  • Ability to work in multicultural/international business environments.
  • Self-driven and motivated with continuous learning ability
  • Openness & willingness to adapt to change
  • Proficient negotiation skills.
  • Familiar with using of Microsoft WORD/ EXCEL/ PPT/ CRM
  • Fluent in English is mandatory.
  • Living or willing to relocate within driving distance of our office in Terneuzen Netherlands.
  • Have a valid European work permit permitting to work in the Netherlands.
