We are looking for Senior Operation Expert, Operations Support, Energy Business in Japan. This is a permanent opportunity, and its location is Tokyo, Japan.
What will you be doing:
Here in Wartsila Japan, There is a need to add an Operations expert within Operations management, MEA to support increasing our business.
This position is proposed to take at Tokyo, Japan location to ensure continuous support to all agreements for effective delivery.
As Senior Operation Expert, Operations Support, Energy Business, your work will focus on these responsibilities:
- Handling of routine operational deviations and technical issues / queries from customers Monitor, analyse and support the installation equipment (Engines & Auxiliary) operational performance.
- Ensure that the corrective and predictive actions are planned and executed at the installations.
- Ensure coordination with all stakeholders. (TS L1 & L2, Maintenance Management, Performance management and Agreement management)
- Support Agreements on Standardizing Operation Procedures.
- Help with deep drive analysis of all technical issues / outages and improve predictability capacity using Wartsila digital tools.
- Prepare monthly reports.
- Proactively report for performance improvements possibilities.
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:
- Act as a technical expert, provide technical advice to plants under agreement and provide proactive operational and technical support for engines and other auxiliary equipment. Utilizing remote diagnostic and analytical tools analyses and supports installation crew to reliable and efficient plant operations.
- Propose improvements to the equipment performance, inform and manage potential operational risks together with stakeholders to ensure the equipment uptime.
- Ensure customer satisfaction.
Education:
Bachelor. Diploma in engineering
Experience:
Min 5 years’ experience in field service, Technical service and power plant or ship Operations handling reciprocating engines.
Linguistic skills:
- Japanese fluency
- English read and write - basic
