Sr. Operation Expert

We are looking for Senior Operation Expert, Operations Support, Energy Business in Japan. This is a permanent opportunity, and its location is Tokyo, Japan.

What will you be doing:

Here in Wartsila Japan, There is a need to add an Operations expert within Operations management, MEA to support increasing our business.

This position is proposed to take at Tokyo, Japan location to ensure continuous support to all agreements for effective delivery.

As Senior Operation Expert, Operations Support, Energy Business, your work will focus on these responsibilities:

• To provide Technical & Operations support for all Agreement installations.
• Support the installations to optimize the equipment performance and efficiency. Ensuring efficient operation of Auxiliary equipment associated with Powerplants.
• Ensure that the corrective and predictive recommendations are planned and executed.
• Support Agreements on establishing Standard Operation Procedures at the site.
• Deep dive analysis of all technical issues/outages with digital tools and improve predictability capacity.
• Submission of monthly Asset Diagnostic reports for all connected installations.
• Act as point of contact and L1 solver for all technical issues for agreements.
• Ensure operational and technical improvements are proposed to customers.
• Support in operational matters when new products or components are developed and launched.
• Ensure coordination with all supporting functions and Agreement management.
• Utilizing remote diagnostic and analytical tools analyses and supports installation operation crew for reliable and efficient plant operations.
• Ensure coordination with DPD team, TS L1 & L2, Maintenance Management, Performance management and Agreement management.

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

• B.Sc. / BE / B Tech in Mechanical engineering or Automobile engineering or Marine engineering.
• 10 - 12 years of experience on HFO / GAS / DF engines.
•  English, Japanese – Read, write and speak
