What will you be doing:
•    Manage and lead the organization of purchasing team
•    Manage and develop supplier base, performance, relationships and negotiations in close cooperation with Divisions/BLs/Support Functions and Category Managers.
•    Create and update agreements with suppliers, maintain SAP Outline Agreements and supplier master data in relevant parts. This is data agreed with supplier in contract (SSPA etc.) or it appendix (price list) and data related supplier company details.  
•    Lead/support/participate in negotiations, secure supplier capacity and long term forecasting.
•    Ensure Quality, Delivery, Lead Time and Cost development and Compliance of materials and services for own area of responsibility.
•    Member of cross-functional Category team, Lead own business line requirements in nominated category
•    SM is expected to represent own BL requirements and take action to find optimal outcome in Category Works and acting as active link between the BL and Category Team
•    Contribute in the category action plan creation and its implementation
•    Drive future supply demand in cooperation with the needed functions in own area of responsibility
•    Gather and analyse spend and supplier data, execute benchmarking, provide data to the relevant functions
•    Support non-conformity/warranty process management in escalated issues
•    Secure compliance to Supply Management processes/procedures, tools, strategies and agreements.
•    Execute/support material/services for cost budgeting and follow-up.
•    Execute/support supplier life cycle management process
•    As part of active Performance management Communicate progress and escalate recurring issues to Category Manager and/or Manager of Supply Management in the respective unit
•    Support non-conformity/warranty process management in escalated issues.


Education:
Bachelor's degree or higher.

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:
•    Academic degree (M.Sc. or equivalent) in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering or Economics
•    Solid understanding of sourcing and supply management
•    At least three years of experience in sourcing
•    In this specific position it is essential to have a good knowledge of industrial product and casting
•    Negotiation skills coupled with a strong focus on problem solving Solution oriented approach, capability to implement and persistency to follow-up activities to ensure sustainability
•    Good communication and presentation skills
•    Fluent command in Japanese and English, both oral and written, other languages could be seeing as advantage
•    Good networking capacity
•    Willingness to travel 
•    SAP\ERP and legal knowledge are seen as advantages
