Newbuild Order Coordinator is responsible for the following tasks:

Handling the order coordination, shipping, and export documentation for spare parts ordered by customers through either Wartsila Global Network Sales or Wartsila Japan Sales. This position requires communication skills, expediting, lead time management, problem-solving abilities, customer service skills, SAP experience, and knowledge of international logistics and export operations.

 

Specific Job Responsibilities:

  • Handling and coordination of inquiries, quotations and orders to internal and external customers according to set processes and KPI's.
  • Quality and timely Response for inquiries, quotations and orders
  • Verification of inquiries, quotations and orders regarding correctness and
  • completeness, and coordinate corrective action when necessary.
  • Follow-up of deliveries, including possible problem solving and claim handling
  • Handling and coordination of non-conformities
  • Communication including negotiation skills of additional information required, lead times, returns and claims
  • Informing or updating on changes, status and handling of Order Acknowledgements
  • Act as a link between external customers and various departments in SLSJP involved in
  • New Build delivery process
  • Communicate (e-mail or telephone) with external and internal
  • interested parties regarding inquiries, orders and deliveries.
  • Close cooperation and follow-up with Account Managers in New Build countries in China, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan and rest of the world
  • Projects Management、Products Cost Reduction, Products Rationalisation etc. Projects managements
  • Marketing、Business Intelligence, Analysis of competitors

 

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Business level English and Japanese. Good communication skills in English
  • Knowledge of SAP is considered an advantage.
  • Organized and structured way of working
  • Attention to detail of administrative work, having a good with numbers
  • Good ability to work independently and remotely
  • Open minded, Flexible, Team player
  • Note: Technical background is not required
  • Excel:SUM・Vlookup 、Word.
  • Marketing, Business Intelligence, Internal Project & Project Management.

Preferred, if applicable

  • Ideally, 2 years of experience of similar tasks with a multinational company(Industrial maker).
  • knowledge of import/export.
  • Domestic/Overseas Sales or Sales Support
  • Business level Chinese or Korean. Good communication skills in Chinese or Korean
  • Review of contract detail in English

 

Education:

Bachelor's degree or higher.
