Quality Engineer

We are looking for Quality Engineer, QEHS in Japan. This is a permanent opportunity and its location is Toyama, Japan.

What will you be doing:
As 
Quality Engineer, QEHS, your work will focus on these responsibilities:

  • Ensure product/process QEHS by implementing/utilising quality system.
  • Typical responsibility areas are e.g. EHS, quality assurance, quality planning, quality control, quality improvement, product classification/ certification.
  • Ensure that necessary procedures are developed and maintained to fulfil internal requirements (e.g. specifications and drawings) and external requirements (e.g. customer, supplier).
  • Perform basic analyses and inspections.
  • Monitor and report performance of local processes.
  • Participate in development of local methods, procedures and systems to improve the quality of the products, productivity or EHS performance.
  • Ensure that corrections and corrective actions are defined and implemented for quality non-conformities.
  • Participate in internal audits.
  • Support locally implementation of QEHS statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in assigned tasks and/or projects.
  • Manage/execute component/product classification/certificate process. 

 

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

  • Bachelors
  • Min. 2 years experiences in QEHS in manufacturer
  • Proficiency in Japanese, written and verbal is a must
  • Proficiency in English, written and verbal is a plus
