Your main responsibilities are
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the right amount of required material is available just on time when needed and effective and efficient procurement in alignment with business needs, guidelines, regulations, and procurement plans from a technical point of view.
- Be responsible for supplier selection, evaluation, and performance management processes related to supplier quality and performance issues.
- Manage and optimize the inventory turnover in alignment with supplier quality level.
- Maintain and develop material master data to analyze for the purpose of strengthening the continuous improvement of sourcing processes and practices
You will shine in this role when you have:

- Bachelor in Engineering, Economics or similar
- Experience in purchasing or logistics or engineering in the manufacturing industry
- Good communication, teamwork and social skills
- PC skills (e.g. SAP, advanced Excel skills)
- Fluent in spoken and written Japanese and English and other language skills are seen as an advantage
- Mechanical design skills (experience using 3D CAD preferred)
