Wärtsilä Land and Sea Academy (WLSA) provides high-quality training services for the energy and marine markets globally. We are looking for a E&A Instructor, with a main responsibility to develop the training contents and the related simulators, and deliver the courses in our training centre, at site or virtually, for both external and internal customers.  

 

The preferred location for this position is Trieste (Italy), but Dubai (United Arab Emirates) can also be considered.

 

Your role and responsibilities   

 

As E&A Instructor your work will include: 

 

  • Develop the needed competences and skills for the assigned product trainings: engine automations, LngPac, control propulsion, etc. 

  • Set up and develop the training equipment and simulators.  

  • Support the sales, planning and execution of training activities for customers and own personnel. 

  • Customize standard learning solutions for specific target groups. 

  • Lead or participate in projects where technical knowledge and experience are needed. 

  

Requirements for the position  

 

  • Excellent knowledge and operational experience with the automation systems of Wärtsilä products for Marine, Power Plant and Propulsion. 

  • BSc or MSc in Engineering or similar area.  

  • Excellent communication skills in English. Other languages are a plus. 

  • Quality, safety and environmental skills.
