Maintenance Engineering Manager

We are now looking for a Maintenance Engineering Manager to join our experienced and forward looking Maintenance Engineering team. The location for the position is in Trieste, Italy.

 

What will you be doing

On a typical day, you might be starting with managing resources to guarantee punctuality of Preventive Maintenance activities and reduce at minimum downtime of systems and machines and end the day succeeding the goals. You will not be working on this alone, even though the work requires a high level of independency, as you will have the support from Manufacturing Excellence and Production Team.

Your work will focus on these responsibilities:

  • All activities relating to the daily maintenance management of the Trieste factory inclusive of planning and implementation of factory maintenance in order to guarantee the continuity of the systems and machines with minimum downtime and Meant Time To Repair.
  • Implementation and sustainability of Maintenance Engineering technique as decisional support to daily maintenance activities and extraordinary projects (renewal or installation of new system or machine)
  • Research and push Maintenance Team toward Continuous Improvement, applying principles of Operational Excellence/ Lean Manufacturing to daily/ extraordinary activities
  • Management of special project and cross functional project team
  • Implementation of Predictive Maintenance Methods to system and machines, applying technics and technology of Industry 4.0
  • To communicate effectively with the Maintenance team relative to the condition of the plant equipment and performance and to provide suggestions for improvements.
  • Maintenance performance indices
  • Annual Maintenance plan / Maintenance budget approved
  • Management of Maintenance suppliers, contracts and their performance
  • Development of competent maintenance resources
  • Administration and training of skilled and motivated maintenance personnel to assure
    good teamwork. Setting and maintaining the qualification and training standard for the
    plant maintenance personnel

Requirements:

  • Qualification: Graduate in Mechanical/ Industrial Engineering or similar
  • Experience: 8-10 years of working experience in Operations & Maintenance (Mechanical)
