Wärtsilä is looking for a Manufacturing & System Integration Engineering located in Trieste to enhance the team of Manufacturing Technologies.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Engineering Support to production in the development of manufacturing & process solutions, focusing on smart technologies introduction.
  • Development of production processes with 3D assembly simulation & Integration with augmented and virtual reality techniques.
  • Support manufacturing analytics expert in digitization of conventional processes to achieve an automatic data collection for analysis, reporting and improvements.
  • Prepare technical study and follow up projects related to manufacturing enhancements (robots, tools, machines, new processes, etc..).

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • M.Sc. or B.Sc. in industrial engineering or mechanical engineering.
  • Experience in prototyping and model making.
  • Basic Design Knowledge to Additive Manufacturing.
  • Mechanical Design skills using NX or equivalent 3D CAD systems (basic knowledge of Siemens Team Center PDM or equivalent is considered as added value).
  • Basic Knowledge of Siemens Rapid Authoring (or Cortona) for assembly simulation & integration with augmented reality.
  • Good knowledge of industrial design and production methodologies.
  • Good English communication written and spoken.
  • Good presentation and teamwork skills.
