Product Cost Software Developer and Data Analyst

We are now looking for a Data Wizard to join our team. The opportunity is offered on a permanent basis and the preferred location is Trieste, Italy.

What will you be doing?

 

As a Software Developer and Data Analyst, your work will focus on these responsibilities:
•    Design, develop, maintain and update the Product Cost Tool including:
           o    Basic Engine cost for each product type and configuration (actual and forecast)
           o    Cost down initiatives tracking both Re-Design (RDE) and Commercial (SM)
•    Update and upgrade the Material Rolling Forecast Tool to create an accurate simulation of the Product Cost Development
•    Develop a tool for Product Cost Development on 3 Years horizon in harmonization with the Transfer Prices Principle
•    Update and maintain KPI and Target dashboard for Product Portfolio Management related indicators
•    Keep continuous data flow from and to product cost experts and business controllers to ensure the reliability of data analysis and functional tool developments
•    Develop Material Cost tool in synergy with Delivery Centres Business Controllers for automatic retrieving of cost data
•    Create tools for Historical Product Cost trend analysis based on Basic Engine Bills of material 
•    Support the Project profitability and Portfolio competitiveness analysis with ad-hoc report on product cost development 
•    Develop and update the S-Curve report utilising the Material Master data from SAP to identify the project cost risk in case of slot cancellation 

 

The below will enable you to shine in this role:
•    Competence in designing, developing and maintaining tools to facilitate the connections and discussions between different data providers and organisations 
•    Experienced developer with Ms-Access, SQL Server, Azure or Python-Statistical Programming
•    RPA/Script approach to optimise and automise manual procedures
•    Advanced expertise with Office package focusing on Excel, Power Pivot. Power Point
•    Demonstrable experience of complex data analytics with a proven ability to build simple yet effective reports in Power BI 
•    SAP knowledge would be considered an advantage
