Project Support Engineer

We are now looking for a 

 

Project Support Engineer  

  

in our Fuel Gas Supply System, Project Management team working for a better future. The position is permanent and the preferred location is in Trieste. 

 

As Project Support Engineer, your work will focus on these responsibilities: 

 

  • Create POR
  • Create WG
  • Keep track of Non Conformity Before Hand Over Costs
  • Support the Project Engineer in arranging intervention on site 
  • Cooperate with the Project Purchaser and Engineering in contacting the Suppliers to receive order confirmations, to arrange shipments, to negotiate prices and to have documentation created in due time according to Class Plan Approval schedule and contractual Customer Document Delivery Schedule.

 

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have: 

 

  • Fluency in English language, both written and spoken
  • Strong knowledge of SAP, especially related to creation of POR, WG and Cost follow up for the projects.
  • Strong teamworking skills
  • Ability in get things done according to projects’ needs and schedule, in cooperation with the Project Engineer and the whole projects’ team.
  • Mechanical/Marine engineering university background
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment
  • Strong understanding of LNGPac/MethanolPac process functionalities 
  • In this role, some travel is required to meet with our customers around the world.
