Expertise Centres provide centralised expertise support to all our contract customers globally. We have skilled and experienced experts who proactively monitor our customer's operations and maintenance management needs and ensure a high level of quality and safety in operations.


Expertise Centres have the core business competence helping the Agreement Managers/Contract Managers and improving customer's business. Expertise Centres act as integrator to other functions supporting agreement delivery.

Technical Data Analyst


We are currently seeking an experienced, full-time Technical Data Analyst to join our skilled Data Analysis team in Trieste, Italy. You will work on remote services in cross functional cooperation with other relevant teams (Maintenance Planners / WOTS) that help our Customers operate their installations in a more reliably and efficiently way. 

 

What will you be doing?


As a Data Analyst your work will focus on these responsibilities:  
•    Perform data analysis for internal/external Customers by taking information about specific topics and then interprets, analyses patterns, and presents meaningful results in comprehensive reports.
•    Develop and produce program metrics report including descriptive statistics and inferential statistics.
•    Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to determine how to get value from our data.
•    You are able to define requisitions and create RPA to facilitates data processes inside the Expertise Centre.    
•    Generate insights and analyse capabilities about Expert Insight/Anomaly detections tools to improve functionality.
•    Apply machine learning, deep learning, and statistical modelling techniques.
•    Lead data characterizations and mining of newer data sources including establishing analytic rules, defining reporting requirements and providing technical advices in how to improve data validity

 

To be successful in this role we expect you to have: 
•    Experience in solving real-world problems with mathematical modelling and having successfully implemented and deployed these models into production.
•    Knowledge of the energy service industry is seen as an advantage.
•    Working experience in multinational and complex environment.
•    Results and targets oriented mindset.
•    Excellent attention to detail but able to form the big picture with regards to data and facts.
•    Capability to work independently and in a team, also in remote context.
•    Excellent communication skills, problem solving attitude and analytic mindset.
•    A Degree qualification in relevant STEM fields. 
•    Must have skills:

    o    Fluent in Italian and English (advanced level). German is considered a plus.
    o    Mathematical modelling, optimization methods, fundamentals of statistical learning.
    o    Structured Query Language (SQL).
    o    Data Mining.
    o    Solid programming skills in the following languages: SQL, Python, R and Matlab.
    o    Expertise in designing and developing complex RPA solutions in the Robotic Enterprise (RE) Framework (UiPath).
