Service Engineer

Your main responsibilities are

  • Perform Field Service activities according to work plan and cost target.
  • Perform maintenance, overhaul, emergency repair on site, in workshop or sailing with vessel at different part of the world.
  • Interact professionally with customer during work execution, continuously report job status.
  • Continuously report working hour time and idling time in mobile device.
  • Create service work report and expense report within given time after job complete.
  • Provide support and follow up of service job.
  • Ensure all work meet our QEHS guidelines, site procedures and regulation of local authorities.
  • Attend assigned training, continuous improvement, develop and learn new product and new way of work.
  • Long time travel and work overseas.
  • Maintain and keep Field Service tools and equipment in good condition.
  • Support office work as need.

You will shine in this role when you have:

  • Knowledge in 4-stroke marine engines as well as related systems and components
  • Relevant hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical disciplines 
  • 4 years or above working experience in related areas
  • Marine Engineer Officer with Seaman’s book is an advantage
  • Bachelor, higher certificate or diploma in Mechanical/Marine Engineering or equivalent
  • Electrical/Automation knowledge is an advantage
  • Good communication/written skills in English and Mandarin
  • Good computer skills
  • Working on board vessel and sailing is required
  • Willingness to learn, work under pressure and travel frequently
  • Candidate must posses Hong Kong Identity Card and be able to work in Hong Kong
