Senior Service Engineer

We are on the way of cementing the foundation for being competitive in the future! As a part of this we are looking for, Field- Senior Service Engineer - Located in Turkey.


Your main responsibilities are

  • Perform Field Service activities according to the work plan.
  • Perform overhauls and repairs on assemblies on site and/or in workshops.
  • Interact professionally with customers during the work execution.
  • Perform internal and external progress status of the assigned work.
  • Create the Service Work Reports.
  • Ensure that the work is executed according to Wärtsilä QEHS guidelines and site procedures.
  • Ensure that the work is executed according to QSHE guidelines and site procedures and policies.
  • Follow-up and report on the status of work orders to customer and/or internal stakeholders.
  • Continuously seek for solutions in according to best practises.


Main requirements in this role are

  • Graduated from Mechanical Engineering or Marine Engineering.
  • A safety first mind-set.
  • You are passionate about developing SLS E2E-business to the next level. 
  • Relevant technical education or qualifications as a combination of education and 2 years of experience.
  • Technical experience in marine engineering with practical problem solving skills.
  • Proven experience of installation operation, maintenance and repair.
  • Highly effective technical communication skills, both written and verbal (in Turkish and English) 
  • Interact professionally and deliver solutions to customers during the work execution.
  • Experience in propulsion shaft alignment and vibrations beneficial.
  • Experience of working with electrical systems beneficial.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office suite.
  • Fluent in English with relevant additional language skills beneficial.
  • You are located in Turkey and willing and able to travel.
  • You don't have military service obligation (for male candidates)
