Are you passionate about ensuring top-notch service delivery? We are now seeking an enthusiastic Field Service Coordinator to join our skilled Field Service Operations team in Turku, Finland.
What will you be doing?
As a Field Service Coordinator, your responsibilities will include planning and coordinating Field Service work orders, making sure they meet project timelines, specifications, and cost targets. Regular communication with Service Engineers and various stakeholders will be essential to provide support, monitor progress, and foster a collaborative environment. Through effective coordination and communication, you will drive a culture of excellence and ensure customer satisfaction.
Your responsibilities for the role include, but are not limited to:
- Planning and coordinating Field Service jobs and projects, ensuring quality of job preparations and job completion within agreed time frame and budget.
- Acting as point of contact for customers throughout work orders, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
- Following up and reporting work order statuses to customers and other stakeholders.
- Continuously updating the tools used for Field Service management and reporting.
- Timely invoicing of work orders.
- Closely cooperating with other departments and stakeholders to meet defined targets.
- Ensuring that all work is executed in adherence to local requirements, site procedures, and Wärtsilä Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines.
- Providing input to development of HSE processes, tools, competencies, and ways of working to secure stakeholder satisfaction and secure defined targets.
The following will enable you to succeed in this role:
- MSc or BSc in Engineering or relevant work experience to compensate for lack of formal education.
- Experience in Field Service or Service Delivery related roles.
- Experience with coordination, Project Management, or similar.
- General knowledge of Wärtsilä products and understanding of technical terminology is beneficial.
- Team-player mindset, promoting collaboration and building strong stakeholder relationships.
- Strong IT skills, interest in working with different systems, adaptability, and enthusiasm to learn.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proactive and structured approach to work, with strong drive and self-direction.
- Proficient English and Finnish language skills, both written and spoken.
- Commitment to providing the best possible service experience for our customers.
