Team Manager, Integration Engineering

We in Exhaust Treatment are now looking for a Team Manager to join our team. The Team Manager will manage our Integration Engineering team, a team responsible for supporting our retrofit projects with arranging feasibility studies and reviewal of retrofit designs. The position is permanent, with location in either in Finland (Turku, Helsinki or Vasa), Norway (Moss) or Poland (Gdynia).


What will you be doing 

In this position, you will be managing your team of Integration Engineers and support them in the daily work. You will also be joining internal meetings and external customer meetings where the most effective installation of exhaust gas treatment systems are being discussed. You assign your team members to projects and follow up that the quality of their work.  


As the Team Manager of the Integration Engineering, your main responsibilities are: 

  • HR responsibility (Line Manager) for the Integration Engineering team
  • Effectively manage resources within the team, and assign Integration Engineers to new retrofit projects in cooperation with your superior
  • To lead, coach and support team members to deliver contracted project outcomes
  • Guide and assist team members in their balancing of time, cost and quality during their project
  • Effectively report, communicate, negotiate and influence outcomes with team members, internally, and with customers and suppliers
  • Contribute with your experience in meetings, both internally and externally with customers


To be successful in this role, we expect you to be:

  • Adaptable, resilient, optimistic
  • Technically and practically skilled, preferable within marine industry and/or exhaust treatment
  • Able to read basic and detailed designs and comment on best practices
  • Motivated to share your knowledge with your team members


In this role, some travel is required to meet with our customers around the world. Thus, we hope you to be ready to travel, even though most of the meetings are held virtually.
